Part 2 of The Hythloday Chronicles sees more shenanigans in the Kingdom of Great Snoring. This time the ruler is a Proconsul with plans to declare himself Emperor, who believes he can achieve his desire through the manipulation of art.
Things are stirring again in the Kingdom of Great Snoring. Napoleon now rules as Emperor. He has decreed he will convert King Alfred’s library into a gallery to display his art collection – the one he ‘borrowed’ from defeated enemies during a war waged in The Kingdom Beyond the Marshes and which he has transported to Great Snoring for ‘safe-keeping’. Napoleon is at odds with his feisty Empress and his citizens over the collection. So once again, Hythloday, Faust and their sidekicks are sent from heaven by Sir Thomas More to help resolve the dilemma and restore Utopia. The farcical twists and turns as they try to outdo each other with uproarious solutions make for funny and entertaining chaos.
