The Hythloday Chronicles is a jaunty satire that take place in the Kingdom of Great Snoring - Part 1 deals with a King who is in search of Utopia which he thinks can be achieved by establishing a library to extol his family history.
Disquiet is stirring in the Kingdom of Great Snoring. King Alfred is planning a library dedicated to extolling his family virtues and history. His citizens are not so keen. They resent such poor use of their taxes. So, in the midst of this debate, Sir Thomas More, author of the treatise Utopia, looks down from heaven and resolves to intervene. He despatches Ralph Hythloday and his nemesis Faust, together with their sidekicks, to help King Alfred and his people settle their disagreement. The twists and turns in Ralph and Faust’s shenanigans, while ostensibly assisting King Alfred and his people to reconcile, makes for convoluted and hilarious confrontations.
